About the project
This interior was conceived as a backdrop for works of art. Vivid and expressive enough in its own right, it still leaves the focus on them. That balance guided the choice of materials, the colour palette and the forms of the furniture.
Pale walls, wood and warm-toned stone create a unified base. Deep blue sofas and a coral wall introduce large planes of colour against which paintings and sculpture read clearly. Restrained finishes leave room for a varied range of artworks.
In the spacious living room, modular sofas are combined with rounded white armchairs and low tables. The kitchen continues the palette of wood and pale stone, and a wave-shaped light above the island lends the composition lightness. The dining area, with its round table and upholstered chairs, creates a more intimate setting.
Art accompanies movement through the apartment, starting in the entrance hall. Its presence unites the different areas, while recurring materials keep the interior coherent — lively, individual and comfortable for everyday life.
