About the project
Aurora is an apartment interior in which a classical foundation meets rich colour, expressive materials and contemporary furniture. Moulded cornices, tall openings and oak parquet sustain the architectural character of the building and provide a backdrop for bolder choices.
The living room is the centre of the composition: emerald onyx on the floor and the fireplace surround sits alongside wood, deep upholstery tones and graphic textiles. A large chandelier of clear and coloured textured glass marks out the dining area. A decorative panel completes the interior, tying together its principal colours.
The kitchen occupies a separate room and is designed for serious cooking. Long worktops, integrated appliances and generous storage define its layout. Wood, metal and glossy tiles keep it connected to the apartment’s overall palette while giving the kitchen a more functional character.
Attention to individual detail begins in the entrance hall, with a hand-engraved cabinet. Each room has its own colour scheme. The shower room is especially striking: burgundy panels, rounded transitions and doors with circular inserts refer to the aesthetics of Art Deco.
The central idea of Aurora is to bring spaces of different moods together into a coherent interior. Recurring materials and classical proportions connect the rooms, while leaving each its own character.
