About the project
A long-standing client entrusted us with creating an apartment for his mother. Her gentle nature became the starting point of the project and found expression in the interior’s main device — soft, rounded forms.
Radiused wall junctions, rounded ceiling contours and streamlined furniture silhouettes form a single sculptural language. The theme runs through the whole interior: from the architecture of the space to the round dining table, soft armchairs and the details of the light fittings. The fluidity of the lines gives the apartment the lightness and tenderness we wanted to convey.
Milky and cream tones, warm wood and soft textiles support this idea. Daylight brings out the curves of the surfaces, and discreet concealed lighting makes the rounded ceiling forms more pronounced. The kitchen and living room share a common palette, which continues into the bedroom.
Particular attention was given to the owner’s large wardrobe: we provided a separate walk-in wardrobe and built-in cupboards, leaving the living rooms uncluttered. The apartment was fully delivered by our team, with equal care for the character of the interior and the everyday comfort of its owner.
